Remembering Francis "KIKO" Magalona

Farncis Magalona, also known as Kiko not only made waves in the music industry as a solo artist but as a collaborator and a music video director as well.

It is no surprise that Francis Magalona came from a family of performers. He was brought up with art and he certainly lived by it. Nevertheless, he worked his way up from being a staff artist, dancer, actor, and then eventually moving on to music - an arena he is most remembered by. How could anyone forget his first album "Yo!?" Every self respecting filipino of that period celebrated Francis' Hits such as Mga Kababayan Ko, Gatta Let 'Cha Know, Cold Summer nights, and Man From Manila. I was through Francis that filipino music listeners realized that it is possible to create a union of rap and patriotism without it being too preachy. the Album celebrated as a commercial success and through this the Filipino music scene started taking notice of Filipino Rap.

We recognized him as the original urban patriot. for Francis Magalona, his Filipino pride was never just a gimmick or an artistic way of breaking into a music scene. he was always consistent of speaking of his supprot for anything Pinoy and because he believed in making urban patriotism a lifestyle, he created the Francis M Clothing Company or FMCC along with Carlo Maniquez in hopes of making a"Filipino" brand worthy enough to be recognized on the world stage.

Rapper, actor, host, musicians, photograher and father. these are just some of many role that Francis M has dedicated himself to his 44 years of existence. Loving oneself is certainly a brand that Francis Magalona has adhered to all his life. In his kaleidoscope world, music and patriotism are two geniune truths that one must live by. And even if his illness suddenly took him away , his name will definitely live on through all Filipinos who at one point in their lives couldn't drink "Royal Tru Orange" without hearing "Ito Ang Gusto Ko".

While Francis Magalona may no longer be with us, we understand, appreciate, and respect that place that he carved out for himself through the music he made.

Trivia about Pocket Monster (Pokemon)

The phenominal Pokemon is an animated series came Japan where story deals with a young boy named Ash Ketchum and his journey towards victory and bagged the title of 1 pokemon trainer.

The term Pokemon comes from the word "Pocket Monster" where these cute monsters where trained by their trainer and fight against another pokemon on tournaments. This hit TV series strarted the the year 1996 by Satoshi Tajiri. Due to his collection of insects since he was young inspried him to create his dreamed creatures.

This was a hit tv series at the united states and created games based on Pokemon. at the list of Pokemon, it was about 150. But, another unknown pokemons where added whom Meotwo, Mew, and Togepi where not included at 150 list.

The First Generation of the game was Red, Blue, Yellow.(151 including mew).

Then next was the Metallic Generation such as Gold, Silver and Crystal where 100 where added (About 251).

The Third Generation(Advance Gen.) where Red Fire, Leaf Green,Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald as 135 where added (386).

The Fourth Generation where Diamond and Pearl as counted to be 493 Pokemons listed.
